Dr. Aaron Hong

BSc MSc MD FRCPC

Dr. Aaron Hong is the founder and lead physician of the Canadian Neuromodulation Pain Management Centre (CNPM). With more than 17 years of experience as an anesthesiologist and pain specialist, Dr. Hong provides highly effective treatments to patients suffering from acute and chronic pain.
Through technologically advanced yet minimally invasive procedures, he helps to achieve long term relief of your pain symptoms without the use of addictive medications.
Dr. Hong was the first physician to introduce to the Greater Toronto Area, percutaneous spinal cord stimulator (SCS) insertion allowing patients to return home the same day. He established the SCS program at St. Michael's hospital which is currently the largest program in Canada. He has also trained and continues to train several fellows. Dr. Hong is also a member of the Emerging Technology Assessment committee of the North American Neuromodulation Society.
